Whole Foods with Kona

I just posted a new video on YouTube. Me and Kona in Whole Foods. I love that boy :) Here's the video:

Oh, and I have a song stuck in my head. So before I say it, I gotta say, I had NO IDEA that Zachary Levi could sing. He's awesome. I was like, what? Are you serious? Yup. See for yourself. Terrified is one of my favorite songs ever. And I really love the version by Katherine McPhee and Zachary Levi. And this music video is smiles and tears (the good kind.) Check it:

Been Here All Along

There's nothing new going on. Not really. Just hanging out with the kids. We've been to Chuck E. Cheese quite often recently. Haha. I'm currently listening to the Hannah Montana Forever Soundtrack on my iTunes. Hehe. Yeah, I like Hannah Montana. Whatever! :) The song "Been Here All Along" reminds me of my family. The chorus goes:
  "You're still there for me
   Wherever 'there' might be
And if an ocean lies between us
I'll send a message across the sea
   That you can sleep tonight
   Knowing it's alright
I believe that you are listening to my song
   You're with me
   You've been here all along
   You've been here all along"
I love you guys. And I miss you. Even though I am here in Ohio and you are in Hawaii, you are still here for me. In my mind and in my heart. I can't wait to see you guys in two weeks! :) I am so excited to come home!

Here's the song. It's a clip from the Hannah Montana Episode it was in. Enjoy :)

Life Unexpected

One of my favorite shows is now over. And as super sad as I am about it, I gotta say, they ended it so well. I just finished watching the 2 hour season finale of Life Unexpected on The CW. It was a crazy episode. At the end however, they did a "Two Years Later" thing. Lux, giving her valedictorian speech as she is graduating. Class of 2012. That's crazy! And everyone ends up with who they should and it's so cute. :) Lux and Jones. Saw that coming from the very beginning. Even when she was with Bug. They just fit. Cate and Baze. Magic. Ryan and Julia, and their son. Math and Alice(pregnant) [now that's one I definitely did not for-see.] And Tasha is there. And they are family. Everyone stuck by each other. And it's really - as cheesy as it may sound - happily ever after! :) So as bummed as I've been for months about the possible cancellation of this amazing show, I was even more amazed with the way that they ended things so smoothly and gracefully and happy. Totally unexpected. But hey, that's why they called it Life Unexpected.

First YouTube Video for KikoLoves

I finally put up a new video since I moved to Ohio! Haha. It only took me like 8 months. But hey, I finally did one. Good or not, you be the judge. I did a cover of Ours by Taylor Swift. It's from her Speak Now Deluxe Edition album from Target. It's also my favorite song from that album. I love Taylor Swift. She is the best. So yeah. Long explanation. Here's the video:

That's such an awkward looking thumbnail picture! Hahahaha. :)

Hooray For Things That Get Fixed!

I took my guitar into the shop to get new strings and a full setup last week Saturday. I haven't done that since I moved back in June of 2010. I just picked it up today, and I've been playing it non-stop. Well, obviously I stopped to post this. Haha. But I am so excited! :) Oh, you are possibly wondering what my guitar looks like. Here, I'll show you!

Yup. That's it. I love it! It's so awesome. Hey mom, I'll try to post a YouTube video soon! Love you! Bye :)

Back to December

Taylor Swift's music video for Back to December came out today. I love it! It's Taylor Swift. :)

I love the simplicity of this video. It's totally not how I pictured the music video to be. I pictured a lot of flash back moments, you know, back to before December. The happy moments of their relationship. Then some flash backs to December when she broke his heart. In this video, there is no interaction between them. It's just her. It's just him. But they are thinking about each other. It feels like this is the moment in December when she made him go. All of his stuff is packed and on her floor. Then it's in his car. He's gone. The letter in the jacket pocket was a good way for closure without them being together. He breathes out at the end after reading the letter, and keeps walking. Finality. He knows it's over, and now he knows how she feels. They both feel the pain of their relationship ending. But that's it. It's still over. I love Taylor in this. She is just thinking and singing and being. Her outfit is perfect for regret, as is her hair and the way she moves. Sorrowful and slow. Her tear. The snow is awesome. On the outside with him. On the inside with her. Back to December. It connects them somehow. Inside, it lands on everything. Everything is cold and a memory, now that he is gone. The guy did a good job too. He's obviously not who you picture when you hear this song (he's not Taylor Lautner,) but his facial emotions and body language was perfect. His sad eyes. His red nose. The way he shivers, not only because of the cold, but of the memories of her, with her. He's walking all around, different places, maybe places they've been together. He's walking through their relationship. Thinking. Wondering. I liked it when the camera was on Taylor's back, and the wind ruffles her shirt and hair and she looks over her shoulder. Like she feels him. Like he's there. Her hand on the window for goodbye, as if she's watching him leave all over again. Him in the car, hands on the wheel. He looks out the window. At her house? After the goodbye? I like all of the different camera angles. The wide shots. The close up shots. The snow. The sun. It's so personal. So real.

Snowy Day

The SNOW has been on vacation for a little while, but it's back now. There's probably two feet of snow covering my entire backyard.
Check it out!
