Beach Service & Shave Ice

We had a beach service for church today! Out at Magic Island. I was so sad because my phone was still out of commission, so I was unable to take any pictures with it. Super bummed. It was beautiful. But you know, sometimes you just have to enjoy the beauty while you are in the situation. Even though with today's technology, it seems like everyone everywhere is looking to snap it, post it, share it. Which I love, obviously. But it is healthy to take a step back, breathe, and enjoy life. So maybe my glitchy phone is a hidden blessing. Take control and focus away from my phone and onto better things. Such as my Heavenly Father! :)

After church we got shave ice from Waiola Shave Ice! My favorite!!! Waiola's is the absolute best!

Mommy slept in this morning. So I went to go help out and cook breakfast for a volunteer group thing. This afternoon, I sang to my mommy the song that I wrote for her birthday present. She cried. Success! Haha. I'm hoping to put it up on YouTube. Well, eventually. I've been so busy it's ridiculous. I don't even remember the last time I even put up a video. Redic! We went to dinner at Dave n Buster's to celebrate her birthday. Nom nom.

Office Depot Photo Booth

Church was great. Then I went to babysit for a few hours. After babbysitting, I caught up with my mom, Kaleo, and Gayle, who'd just watched a movie. The Purge. I told them to see it without me, as I had no intent on watching that. Never! So Kaleo and I took some pictures in Office Depot. Well, we tried to. But our mommy kept photo bombing like a creep (I mean that in the loving-est of ways.) Haha. We love you, mommy! Even though you is crazy!

They headed off to do school shopping. I headed off to a Bible study. With the same girl as last Sunday. Hooray! And once again, it went great! It's so exciting!

Happy Mommy's Day!!!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Sang some songs to my mom and nana this morning for mother's day. Because they actually like my voice. That's what mothers and nanas are for. And for hugs and love.

Church was all about mothers today. Obviously.
Here are some key points that I took away:
-Love helps us to stick around. To persevere.
-When life happens, just pray.
-Kids: Love your mom.
-Mom: Love your kids.
-By honoring your mom, you are pleasing God.
-Set an example for your kids by living faithful to God.

After church we had a Mother's Day lunch at Tony Roma's. Delicious ribs and broccoli! Yummmmmy! Then we did some Target shopping before heading home. Haha.

I love you mommy! Thank you for all that you do for me each and everyday. Thank you for putting up with my craziness. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for taking me to church when I was four because I asked to know more about God, Jesus and the angels. Thank you for teaching me, daily, what it means to be a disciple and truly serve God. Thank you for teaching me to love. To be happy whatever the circumstance. You are not perfect. But you're perfect for me. You are my best friend. I wouldn't be who I am or where I am, without you and your love. I love you with all of my heart. Happy Mommy's Day. (:
