Handprint Flowers for Mother's Day

It's almost Mother's Day! So in my class I had the kids make these cute little handprint flowers. They are very simple and easy to do. I painted their hand red and placed it onto yellow construction paper. I cut it out as you can see below. I had them paint a green stem and leaves onto a white cardstock. Then glued the yellow hand on top to look like a flower. Easy peasy lemon squeasy.

For those few children who cannot stand to get their hands messy, I simply traced their hand on a red construction paper and cut it out. Then glued it onto the yellow construction paper, and followed with the same steps as the painted one. It still came out pretty cute if I do say so myself.
